New Intercooler for my Tdi Rangie

    G'day Guys,

Picked up a bit of go faster bling today from Bruce Davies Performance Landys

It will be installed in a couple of weeks, BUT I am going to install my Thermoguard EGT first to use these reading as a standard to compare against.

One by one I will record the differences when 1 install intercooler 2 up the boost to 18/20 psi 3 up the fuel delivery AND then I hope to be able to catch DiscoWhites D90!!!

yes it is bigger - as in wider and deeper than standard, see where the threaded bolt holes are? this is where the original D1 Tdi radiator surround bolts onto it - as it no longer uses the passenger side panel as it will not fit!!

    I take it this is a PWI 2150 ?
If so, tou've saved me a phone call. (PWR list it as fitting Disco's from '86-02 )
PWR (Paul Weel Racing) list the PWI2150 at $840 + GST.

I've got a batch Tdi intercoolers being, manufactured right now
they are a "drop in" replacement of original cooler just like that one but with proper cast end-tanks not fabricated. (cast tanks flow & look better, but cost big $$ for tooling, ask me how I know )

Bench tests on a manufactured sample show 50% increase in cooling capacity and around 60% less pressure drop
Special price for you AULRO regulars (yes you lot) $440 inc GST ($400+)

Please don't let this get around,
The resellers I'm talking to will crack the sh*ts as they all want to make big margins and sell them for 700+

they are due to me in approx 4 weeks but I'll keep you informed

    Jase

PS sorry for the spam couldn't help myself

    Jase,

Will they suit a 200 Tdi disco. If so you can put me down for one.

    Thanks

I'm pretty sure the factory 200 tdi disco intercoolers are same as the 300 tdi? (they look the same but to be honest I've never measured one) if they are the same std it'll fit, if close it'll be close and worth a shot
some other "expert" may chime in here on how similar they are std
