Give Widetread tyres a call in Ferntree Gully. The are on Burwood Hwy, at the base of the "Mad Mile" going up into the hills. They are great on price, and have a wide range, including second hand tyres. My BFG Muddies were some of these.

I drive past Widtread every day - so I'll drop in and ask them.
Well I went with the new Cooper ATR from Widetread for $235 each. Never run Coopers before so we'll see how they go.
You can still get Michelin XPC but at $350 each - yep $350 !!! :o :eek:
Michelin Synchrone are $250 each but don't last as long apparently.

It really depends what you can afford and what you want out of a tyre though. I run BFG muddies in 265/75/R16s on weekend trips and have BFG all terrains for around town and touring.
