    bump stop clearance

I notice on the LRA website that they dont recommend front bumpstop clearance on s1 discos exceeding 3.5inches(88mm) for a fairly std set up. Mine is currently 80mm but I want to improve my approach angle as the winch bar sticks out a long way. What do others reckon about this? I'd like to have about 110mm but LRA reckon this might create vibration and/or steering issues? What BS clearance are others running and any probs?
I am considering coil spacers or upgraded springs.
    cheers

i have issues with LRA's base info on the bumpstop heights.. i have factory spec's of S1 disco's and went through all this with andrew. he is guessing with his figures.

i had 90mm front and 140mm rear on my S1 disco, no vibes at all, was running 32'' mongrels, all i had was lite steering.

now i have 110mm on my 90 and have no issues at all???

fyi, wheel cntr to bottom of guard is how Land Rover measure the height.
    S1 is front 460mm rear 490mm.

jack your car to that height and see what you have B/S wise, then go from there.

Thanks phil, are those figures (460,490) for one straight of the production line?
