Interesting. Thanks Inc
How much am I looking at if that's the problem, more or less?
Is there anyway of testing it out before I go ahead and repalce it?
Cheers,

Hi
I have only used the Flashlube twice between tanks. I only have the D1 for a few weeks now and its not a daily driver. Take it to work twice a week from Gosford to Sydney to give it a run.
I would say I get roughly 10% more on a tank. I havent measured it but can see im not filling as quick as I use to. The one major difference is how smooth it accelerates and idles nice. It doesnt do that struggling up a hill before gearing down now but goes good as it seems to have more power now with the injectors all cleaned up. As i said im not mechanical at all mate but there are a few small things that I have found to work in the past. Im not too keen to experiment with gimmicks but some things do work.
I will also replace the ignition leads in time. I can vouch for that I did high performance ignition leads in a previous car and the results were amazing. Cheap fix and the benefits are good. Might even do it in the S3 as well as every bit helps to get the best out of the motor being so old.
I second that, pull it off first and clean in behind it and make sure the contacts are all ok, mine use to do it too until I cleaned the mud out !Quote:
