Brakes Pads

they should be a twin piston caliper....
easy to replace pads.....you dont need to remove the caliper....just pull out the two pins that hold them in.....

i just changed the rears on my fender.....DB1306 cost me $28.65......
will see how long they last......

Depends if you use the brakes or not eh Zook....

Easiest job ever, changing the pads on a Disco is a piece of (insert description here).

Front and rears are different, I know I've done 'em.

The setup is like race car stuff! Hardest part of changing the pads is jacking up the Land Rover and getting the wheel off. Love 'em. And so much easier than doing the pads on the Falcon.

the falcons are just as quick...........if the pins arent seized.....you only gotta undo one extra bolt.....

All Rangies up until the P38A and all Disco 1 and all Defender use twin piston rear calipers and four piston front calipers.

SORRY.....calipers on P38a's [RR's 1995 on] are NOT opposed piston type, but ARE sliding caliper type i.e. slide along guide bolts.:angel:

Zook its about a half day for me, they last three years around here. Not much to stop for, like traffic lights or for that matter, traffic.

I give the lot the once over when they're off, but i lose interest very quickly so it makes the job a chore, on the Falcons we've had over the years.

Which brings me to another bloody issue. I've just discovered the fluid is slowly disappearing out of the reservoir on the Disco, but i can't find where its going.....grrrr....
