Discovery changeover to Watts Linkage
I was wondering when the Discovery changed from the A-Frame to Watts Linkage. Was it before the Series II?

All of the series 1's had A-frames, and all of the series 2's had the watts linkage. The series 2 came out in 1999.

Gday Cal, not much to be honest. I run 10" shocks and so it was only just a fraction that I needed. To get real gains such as running 12" shocks etc, you'd really need to get the angle grinder out and modify the axle mount or look at some of the rovertym cranked watts linkage arms.

Yeh, with my bilsteins i think i am at the limit off the shock about 3mm before the limit of the watts linkage, when i was puting the shocks on i was testing its full drop with no shocks on, checking the ABS and brake lines etc, and noticed that it was only a fraction off the limit of the shocks... looking at your flex shots you seem to have alot more travel in the rear or maybe its just the angle? I still have the stock setup upfront till i do something about the front crossmember.
Sorry about the post hijacking Timberwolf!!
