When the coolant changed or whatever, the TD5 from my experience gets air bubbles in it. You'll start with coolant at the correct level, the engine gets hot, the lines remain pressurised and the fluid level drops in the container. I can only assume the air bubble in the engine compresses with pressure which drops the fluid level. The air bubbles come out eventually and in my case at least, I put about another 2 litres of coolant into it. The air is all out now, and I've noticed that the coolant level today had increased instead!
