I was going to say the same thing, they do make those noises every now and then.

Why not say cable tie the offending spring top & bottom temporarily, & then see what happens.

This sounds very much like what it may be, my black ute uses rangie rear springs in the front and makes this sound every time I drive it, springs move around on the saddles.

Well guys we found it, we being my local spring guy and my self ..:p
Turns out the rubber has come away from the sleeve in the front of the right hand radius arm :mad: you can only just see it with a torch ..
so i think i may aswell do them all ,we had a look at the rear ones aswell where the rubber meets the body there is wear to the piont that there is a gap of about 4mm that cant be good any way thanx again :D i didn,t have a clue wear to even take it to get it looked at
The local ex landy dealer i wont go back to after they got my transfer box and gear box oils ass about which resalted in me having to get my gear box re built not to mention the blue i had with them when they said (oh that wont damage the gear box) ...#$@!wits i tell you Ok rant over...:wasntme:

If one of them is gone it would be as well to replace all of them - and the ones in the panhard rod as well. It is not a particularly difficult job, especially if you have a press or a big vice and either have suitable sockets to use as removal and fitting tools or can make these. Judging from previous discussion most people will advise you to use the original type of rubber bush. Expect to have to replace the bolts at the front of the radius arms - you may even have to cut them if they are rusted into the tubes. In any case the nuts should be replaced.
