If I'm pushing 700*C pre turbo, that's approx. 550*C after it. Wrap that temp in with a silica based wrap and
That's why I've been reluctant to use it.

for bigger scale pics...
no sign of anything untoward at all after about 70000 klms including bush and beach work, sustained long haul with 1 ton load and day to day short haul....
like i said, cant see the problem.....
fair enough Inc. Looks like it's worked fine for you.
BTW, did you seal the wrap with any silicone based sealer, (Thermo-Tec used to recommend this for their wrap for long term use) or just use the bare wrap ?
As I said before, I've had several boxes of wrap sitting here for five years unused. You might have convinced me to give it a chance.
bare wrap so it breathes...
feel free to send me a couple of boxes :P
cheeky sod. :p
me, never...
My local 'leky bloke (who I would trust with my life) re did my alt for $188 a year back and that included a new extendable custom made tensioner arm, diodes-brushes and a bearing, love him.......(Thanks William)
