    Wheel Spacers for Series 3?

I have just fitted some BFG AT's I had to some old Disco steel rims.

If the size is 275/70 R16 - will I need spacers? and if so do you just get these from ARB or somewhere?

    Thanks

You may have trouble finding them - as far as I know wheel spacers are totally illegal in all states. You should also be aware that although often fitted the Disco wheels are not rated at a sufficiently high load for the maximum weight of the 109 and you may run into roadworthiness and insurance issues, although the likelihood of trouble is pretty low unless you are carrying heavy loads off road.

    Err, no. What Brian says.

I'm no expert, but I'd have thought there would be rubbing everywhere there could be and an almost complete inability to drive the car at park speeds. Is bad enough with my 31x 10.5s.

If a larger offset is required, wheels made with that increased offset will need to be used, Sam.

They wouldn't come close to being within the guards (mine don't and they're narrower) so flares would be required - pretty big ones with the width and increased offset.

And, again outside of my personal experience, you'd need to cut the guards if you want articulation.

But don't let us put you off
