Even though the PCD's match, I'm pretty sure the other manufacturers wheels wont locate on the centre stub like the factory wheels, and the nuts are different sizes (smaller) than the LandRover ones.

This said, I'm pretty sure Procomp in Victoria sell them with a little more offset than factory.

I found out the other day that VW transporter van wheels apparently have the same stud pattern as D2's and can be bought for a very reasonable price. All that needs doing is the centre hole made bigger and I believe the guy I spoke to said that was around $25 per rim.

All up much cheaper than buying the genuine LR article. They are certainly not as thick as the LR rims but would do the job unless you are going to be playing super hard.

Land Rover? Some D2s had them. Also the same rim was used as the spare on P38As - I have one in the garage.

Pro Comp in Melbourne Definately had some last time we were in there.
Had come down in price too!

Rockcrawler make steelies for the D2, i can't remember the shop here in aust that sells them but they were $170ea last time i looked, i think they have a 30mm offset too.

Not sure on the brand, but I have seen the centre torn right out of an aftermarket D2 wheel that was fitted to a camper trailer. One of the other ones was cracking in the same spot. Luckily we had some genuine steel wheels sitting around (off a trade in) and we could get the bloke out of trouble.
