Thanks for that.
OK 4 kpl is 25 litre per 100 kays
or 6.25 gals for 62.5 miles
62.5 divided by 6.25 is 10 mpg.
Thats not too bad, I know of cruisers with big vans behind get those figures.
Back when, if I knew how to put a remote gearchange on a LT95 trb. I would have put a 4BD1T in it .
Too late now, old pensioner has no bucks.
Didiman.
Had a Triumph 2500TC once with an auto. these could be push started as they had a pump on the output shaft of the transmission. From memory you had to get them up to about 60kmh in neutral then shove it into 2nd. A few cars I know of had the pump as well, namely, Studebaker, early Falcons, Triumph, Morris.
Sorry Mate Stuffed it up. It should be 11.28 MPG. Work out the litres per 100K,s.In this case it is 100 divided by 4 which equals 25 litres/100 Km.
The computered figure is 282.Divide that by 25 ( l /100k) that equals 11.28 MPG.
sorry Sunday Morning I'll blame.:(
Cheers,
