Swivel Housing Grease, one shot type

Quick questions, the swivel housing grease, how much is it normally, saw a price for $25, but thought i had seen it cheaper !!

And do u need two shots to do both swivel's ?

think the part number is stc3435 !

    Try a Penrite dealer.
They sell a semi fluid grease in a bottle,I used to use it in my Series Landies.I think you will get a bottle for the price of 1 Landy tube, and have enough to do the pair.
Put the bottle in a container of boiling water and leave it for 20mins or so to get it very runny. You need to find something to screw to the lid, from memory a nozzle from one of those maxi size sillycum cartridges will fit but are hard to find. Its not a huge problem you could even drill a hole in the lid and fit a retic fitting and hose.
PS this stuff is the ducks nuts in a leaky Series steering box that wont hold EP90,this dont leak, same goes for Series swivel housings
    Goodluck

Sorry, I can't find it on their website. I checked the shed, but I'm out of it, so I can't give you any info off the label. If you ring their tech support line and ask for liquid or fluid grease to suit Land Rover swivel housings, they should know off the top of their head.

Or just go to the factory on Bayswater and pick some up, you'll probably get a trade discount for going in yourself.
It's in Havelock Street, same as Fred Smith.

Hi matbor, the swivel hubs hold around 350ml of oil, the one shot things are pre-measured doeses, just squirt them in, they can be gotten from british 4wd for about $20. You just undo the square plug on top of the housing and squirt it in. Matt
