Disco Front End Shake

Still going - the latest is now a Bilstein damper and tighter preloads. Off for a 12 hour drive this weekend so I should know more.

Dead after 6 months (probably dead earlier). Soft spots everywhere, particularly centre.

Suspension to stiff? maybe thats why it is ok on dirt..it is too stiff it will bounce across corrugations instead of roll with them?

I have a similar problem with my defender and when I checked the king pins they were tight at first,then flopped around easily to the steering stops.Should they be firm all the way? Pat
