    just bear in mind that a lot (most ?) injector cleaners can be highly corrosive to the rest of your engine, reacting in the crankcase (thanks to blow-by) and accelerating wear of the bearings, etc. One brand that doesn't do this in my experience with several diesels and multiple oil tests is Redline's family of diesel additives, 85 Plus, RL 2 and RL 3.

    Rick, which Redline product do you use? Also where are these bought.

    Likewise, where is the chemtech bought? I couldn't even find a website for them!

    Sorry, I'm just asking where to buy so I don't have to run to Supercheap, then Kmart, then repco etc

    Excellent! Thanks for this Graeme!!! I think its time that I gave it a try.

    I'm pretty sure when it was dealer serviced they used to put something into the fuel to keep it all clear... I'd have to check though.
