The LRA or 'White tiger' 2.5 body lift is comprehensive and the price isn't too bad, but if you can do it cheaper theb by means it's all good. Just make sure you do it properly and you should be fine.
My kit cost me about $100 and a day of my time (plus about 6 beers  ).

So share the details, did you DIY and what did you use. How did you get around the radiator, brake lines etc.

Take some photos as you are fitting the LRA kit, if you decide to go that way. I have ordered the kit and plan to fit it between Xmas and new year, so would be good if you post any problems or issues you have fitting it.

the LRA kit is VERY comprehensive and can be fully engineered.
However I went for the Graham Cooper kit - comes in 1" and 2", I only needed the 1" to fit in the TDI motor and was very easy to install.
BUT I should have listened and either gone with a GC 2" or LRA 2.5" - my 35" Simex like ripping the LRA Flares even more than my 33" MTs!!!
