    Defender, D1 spare wheel carrier.

    Hi guys,

Where can I find a wrecked or unused old spare wheel carrier from a defender.
Need this for my old army box-trailer, got a spare wheel but need to mount it.

    Thanks

Do you want a carrier (in your title) or wheel (in your message) ?

If carrier, will Disco do ?

why not grab an old hub weld that to a plate then attach that to the trailer, or just weld the hub strait onto the trailer with some supports...

as im replacing the door mounted wheel carrier from big red with a swing away carrier your welcom to that one and from memory while wollongong is not on our route, should you want to if you can meet up with us on the route we can arrange a meeting during a driver reviver.

Or do like I have with my tandem trailer - hub with a dirty great bolt through the middle with a suitable bit of pipe spacing the hub out, washer to fit the outer bearing recess. Not Landrover hubs, but the same principal applies.
