you could run two aircon compressors under the bonnet ya know :)
assuming of course you have space?
Ben, what do you use for your air tanks? fire extinguishers? old truck parts?

The air tanks on my IIA are my home made rock sliders/side steps. 3" diam. 5mm wall seamless hydraulic pipe running between the front and back wheels on each side. I welded end caps on, then welded small blocks of 10mm steel on in critical places, and drilled and tapped it to take the air fittings.Quote:

Is this setup possible in a 'non-aircon' Defender Td5?Quote:

Supercheap has one for $129, I bought the same one a year back when it was $179, it's the same as some of the popular brands, just with a different name, Regards Frank.Quote:

previous to the 110 i had two cheapies and they were a pain in the butt, cutting out from heat, the cheap hoses falling apart
when i brought the defender it was fitted with a bushranger to run the locker, no problems so far
Tombraider, this "Suprcheap" compressor is exactly the same model as some of the "Brand Names" compressors which are nearly twice the price, have used mine regularly over 12 months and have never had it cutout from overheating, sometimes my compressor is used to pump up 3 x 4wd's at a time, no complaints here, I dont mind saving dollars at all, Regards Frank.Quote:
