And I thought I was being sublte about it...

Assuming both the seals and bearings are the same, it makes no difference to me....

If not then for starters whichever box byron has or is most common

oh Ok....cool.....I wasn't sure what you meant......

BTW....what have you got there ?.......I'd love another RR Classic to play around with..... LOVINGLY restore [and tastefully modify maybe].....I've got 3 LR products currently....[see below my signature].....but I really miss not having a Classic currently.....they are just such an iconic car......have you got anything cheap that's going ATM?....or anything at all?????

Haven't looked into why its leaking, its pushing out the dipstick which is usually blowby, bu it doesn't smoke, strange, like i say though i haven't peered into it, i've driven it for the jast week and a half, its a carbed 3 speed, i can always sell you the EFI 3.5 and 4 speed that i have in an 88

The 88's body is a mess, depends on how much you like panel work?

    Where are you located?

Nope panel and body work always works out most time and cost consuming.....I can do a lot of mechanical/electrical/ systems /R/R fitting/replacing myself, but not body/panel work.

I'm in Sydney, eastern suburbs, but have a country property in QLD bush.......I might have a re-think about the white 85.....
