One last post for this thread.
If you read bradtot's post it was a deep cycle calcium battery. The capacity was not stated.
The battery is probably around the 90 Ah size and limiting the current to 20A is i would say not such a bad thing with a calcium battery. The problem bradtot describes is however unlikely to be resolved simply by using the DC/DC but will probably improve the situation some what.
Drivesafe: ...the battery NOT the charging device...
read my post again, that IS what I said. The DC/DC will cap it to 20A in this case.
I would not call A 20A DC/DC a toy. 20A can be far too much for many batteries.
Any way your constant personal remarks have made this forum somewhat unpleasant. I therefore shant come back to this thread. So be my guest, you may have the last word.
This is a forum by the way. Maybe you could look that up in a dictionary. It is a place to meet and discuss different points of view and reach a consensus. Not to riddicule and diminish ay opinions you don't like.
I really am a little dismayed that your replies always contain belittleing, demeaning, personal slurs just because I choose to put forward a different view to yours. With your title of moderator, i would expect you to set a positive example and not lead the villification and defamation.
