Pro Comp Shocks 4 Rangie Opinions ????

I tested them on the trip with the RR to the Sunshine Coast 600km return so I was very confident that they will perform.

Give Shane from Suspension stuff a bell, he has procomps and a new brand which are ment to be realy good!!!
They are Boss 12 stage adjustables, they come in long travel versions to:cool:
I think he said they are around $400 a pair for long travel ones:cool:

i put the car in for Rego, it failed now on both rear shocks, got some lovells on the way..

I bought the Defender without plates and to have the registration the Defender went trough an inspection to get the blue certificate. This inspection was done on the 4/01/09 and all was Ok!

I have had procomps on my D1 and my GQ patrol and I would recommend them without any problems.

My use was limited to short trips and day trips and I havent tested them over hundreds of miles of corrugations so I dont know how they handle the heat under extreme conditions.

But if you arent going to flog them, then they are definately worth looking at.

I like the fact they can come in any length to suit what flex you want and give shane at suspension stuff a call, he will steer you in the right direction, he has a good rep.

When the time comes, I will be putting procomps on my rangie :p:p:p

Thanks 2 Door. I'll was checking out his site today, which made me think about the Pro-Comps. I won't be doing long streches of corrugations in my 2 door too soon but they should handle weekend stuff and a trip to work every now and then.

In the coil sprung land rovers I have found that in the rear almost any shock is fine, but up front it is a different story, my bilstiens on my old rangie were far superior in all conditions then any other shock I have run (i have never run konis thou :D)

I would personally not recomend procomps all round, exspecially for a tourer type setup.

personally i would recomend procomps all round. ive now run them on 2 of my 4b's and i cant fault them. the dints in the rears would have screwed a mono shock.

they will be fine for your application. are you getting them for extra length or just a good and well priced shock?
