I think the biggest issue would be getting an engineer to sign off on the ESC. The ESC would be calibrated to the dynamics of a particular wheelbase. If you changed the wheelbase length the calibrations may require redoing (ie recoding the computer software)...Quote:

Or, there is the new D1 Forward Control idea from Rotodama in the UK, which is planned on being available in single cab, dual cab, camper and 10 seat bus versions.

These guys have done one of the better looking conversions I have seen. Kudos to them.
