    Question Defender Rear Ladders

    Ok
    I need some answers from the brains trust

    Who has a rear ladder fitted to get to the roof rack ( I'm a short ****)
    what do you recommend?
    where did you get them? &
    How much were they.

    also which ones to avoid

    I just stand on the grab handle then on the spare wheel.

    I dont have a grab handle. Do you meen the loops on the rear crossmember

    Well as Read90 showed the pic i may have a second Hand one Kicking around at the other unit...i need one myself but im sure there is 2 over there...will let you know...

    I have the standard "short" ladder from LR, available from the Stealers as a Gen Accesory.
    From memory it was in the low $200's fitted.
    It works as it should, and I also use a set of Graeme Cooper Bumperettes(with Chequer plate on top) to get the first "leg up" onto the truck.
    This setup works well for me, it's simple and effective.......

    Rear Ladder

    I went to a ships chandelry (? spelling) Paid for two mast steps, and used stainless screws to put them in. I think they were $4.50 each. Handle and step in one, and easy to install. Two steps and onto the spare tyre. Can post a pic later if you want.

    Hmmmm.....if you wanna go that way, there's some very nice fold-flush when not needed ones made of cast alloy, also others in stainless.....a veritable plethora available!
