Hence the reason for the longer bump stops!!!

Ok guys I have already got the 2.5" spring lift,, it is only temporary as well,, going to put in a 3-4" lift in feb-march.
I will organise the body lift next week as I can't get any blocks this week, & will visit clark rubber as well (any pics of the clark rubber flares so I can see roughly where you cut ??)
So hopefully by this time next week it will sitting proud & strong. :D
try Graeme Coopers for the lift kit - alloy spacers / longer bolts / new body mount rubbers. I used the 1" lift kit - wish I'd have done 2" now!!!

Is it a 2 or 4 door?Quote:

In that case I would suggest getting the LRAutomotive/Grahame Cooper type fiberglass moulded flare.
You'll know why when you cut out the rear doors. You'll see there is a massive gap in the door where mud and water etc will start to fill up.
With the moulded flare this gap is covered and is a much nicer finish than just leaving the hole/gap in the door.
I suppose you could just fill the gap in with some bog or something if you still intend to use the clark rubber flares.
LRH,
I haven't been off-road with the flipped Disco rims yet but the old Vogue alloys did rub inside the guard (near the top spring cup) and on the mudflap, but I made sure there wasn't anything nasty in there to cut the tyre on.
The 40mm body lift I did prior to the 33's being fitted. My Disco rims have 65mm extra offset than std (max that I could get).
Trav
cheers,
let me know how you go, I only started getting the problems when I changes the spings which in turn gave me too much? flex - never get too much!!!

if the extended bump stops dont fix it then I'm just going to have to cut the back body off and make it into a ute!!!
