Ive noticed big reds ally panels are not nearly as durable as kermits or bugs for that matter...
founf this out the hard way when as per norm in a particualar nasty hold up (rolled truck on highway and emergancy service vehicles parked in the spoon drains so my alternate "road" was blocked we parked our buts on the wings with our feet on the bull bar enjoying the fading light while we waited...
we now hve slightly scolloped wings on top... my side was worse than swmbos, probabley something to do with the difference in ummm footprint area.....
(oh i hope she doesnt read that) :)
There is two types of silicone...
Acidic base and neutral base
Acidic base will eat into anything, even the silver on a mirror
Just use a reputable neutral cure silicone
