Diff lock axle ends? how about free wheeling axle ends?

I can help you out with a set of second hand drive plates ( I think I may also have a set of free wheelers) and possabley a set of front half shafts.... When you come to pick them up if you bring the diff with ya If i can redo the preload for ya I will (the crushable spacer if fitted may be shot) right off the top of my head I think you need a 41 or 42mm socket for the preload nut.

If you can make the freight costs (I cant Im skint due to my upcoming move) I can pull the rear axle out of the trailer conversion Im doing and send that to you, The brakes need work but since I only need it to sit under a trailer its yours for the 2a if you want it....

Its currently under a SWB SIII with a 4.7:1 diff in it and its just a standard rover diff....

Ideally Id like one back eventually but I have a spare trailer axle I can bodgie under to keep the trailer mobile enough to get on the removalse truck

If its likely to pan out I'll recheck the diff before it comes out and let you know the overall condition..

I really appreciate it - Ill have to work out if any of this is possible at the moment. I am in Brisbane - about to move - and there are other factors involved.
Ill look at my options probably tonight.

there is an off chance that as part of our move we will be coming through sydney (here we go again) so I might be able to drop it off to you there....

also If you need it and want to have a crack at it I just happen to have an A frame that will pull your army rover quite nicely if you decide your going to flat tow one of the rovers.... (but that I want back) so providing you have a pintle hook and a trailer socket jumper lead (so all the towed vechiles lights work off the trailer plug you can save on the cost of trailering one rover.

Dont forget you dont need all your diffs working in an old rover, just one... pull the half shafts from to dodgey one and drop the prop shaft and nurse it in. Brisbane to Sydney should be a doddle. (but not with another rover on the back.)
