Mix a little molybond into the oil or put it into the tcase before you add the oil..

you'll be amazed at how long that stuff will keep you going..

Molybond/Molykote are molybdenum (sp?) based greases. They have fine particles of molybdenum in them which help reduce friction.

Should be able to get it at SC.

NFI if it will really make a difference though.

Not sure if would help... filled her up this arvo and was only able to get just under 1L in before it started running out ... supposed to take 2.3L... was on flat ground so maybe i should have the passenger side on a slope.

But took it for a quick drive to get everything moving and still whinned like a wounded banchee

yeah, one to fill and one to empty....

if your putting in really thick oil, patients is the key, it can get an airlock while trying to fill the center diff housing fill it, leave it (or take it for a real short drive) then try to fill it agina.

on a series box if Im doing the grease thing I'll add about 2/3's of the right amount of oil then take the inspection plate off of the top of the tcase and drop the grease in there. The case will be overfull but thats ok
