diesel chip by dielsel tuning for disco 3, 2.7TDV6

anyone know anything about the diesel chip that diesel tuning put out?

Does it work like the dtronics units in that it has a modified ECU program or is it using different technology?

    Is it any good?

    ta
    cheers

Bruce does have them - they were comparing the before and after on both D3 and RRS TDV6s in 4WD Monthly mag a couple of months ago, good read.

They were towing 2 tonne Bayliner boats up the hills in Mount White (Sydney) at 140kmph and were accelerating away!!!

    Warning!

    There are 2 ways to upgrade a D3/RRS TDV6

    1 is traceable (warranty void)

    1 is un-traceable

I'm going to be getting the untraceable system but its freaky scary @ $3000.00 for the hardware alone!

Programming is then done vehicle by vehicle basis (code to be extracted then re-written) and all untraceable

The Autologic upgrade works but is traceable and LRA wont like it

does "Bruce" have a website of sorts or a company name?

One mob I have contacted said their unit attaches to the common rail and boosts it's pressure. Dunno about that myself but I know SFA about such matters!

This is some blurb I got from them via email. Any thoughts?

"... A lot of companies are changing to our tuners because of the ease, reliability, and lack of intrusion to the computer but with better, smoother gains in power. Your new vehicle is common rail so what our tuner does there is modify the rail pressure at the required RPM for the optimum power"
