    Hi Tank/Frank,

I actually asked 4wd direct about them and they didn't know 'em. I've put this week aside to get this sorted out one way or another so I'll be asking about Lovell's as quite a few people have had good things to say.

    Cheers, Pete'

I put the rears in today, it feels so different...bit more roll but better on bumps (undo the top shock mounts, not the bottoms)

I am going to do the fronts tomorrow morning

I drive an 86 Rangie, I think these fir some discos becuase the labeling on the box reads "Landrover/Range Rover"

I changed my springs and shocks when I wanted to put in a lift - It's a pretty easy job so long as you have a set of spring compressors (and don't run into any cross threaded nuts like I did). I got off-the-shelf Kings springs and Tough Dog shocks and although the ride is a little harsh (I rarely carry loads or tow) I'm happy with the handling and off-road performance. Good luck.

If 4WD direct don't know who Lovells springs are I wouldn't trust them to know anything about suspension, Lovells are the biggest manufacturer of automotive springs in Australia and supply most aftermarket companies who put their own brand on them, they also supply the Car manufacturers in Australia and overseas.
The biggest hurdle you have is removing the shocks, you can bet that the bottom bolts will be tighter than a fish's ar$ehole, (that's watertight) and you need some way of stopping the bottom half of the shock turning while you undo the nuts, use a pair of Stilsons or Vice Grips if you are not keeping the old shocks, I use an old modified oil filter strap wrench to hold the new shocks, otherwise an easy job, if the nuts aren't too tight, Regards Frank.
