it sounds like the auxillary battery is pulling down your main......slowly.....
disconnect the auxillary and see if it helps........
I don't know. It is a maze of wires in there from the previous owner. Battery guy also asked if the system isolates tha batteries and I couldn't answere him. His advice after checking it all was leave it till I need the aux for a trip and then replace it.

    Hi Guys
Are you running an automatic solenoid system for your dual batterys????
Its what I had in our Trytoo(previous owner jobbie),and found it to be a battery killer. The slave dies, pulls the master down, you replace the slave then the old master becomes the slave and the process repeats itself resulting in poor battery life.
I got sick of it,got a Traxide SC40 and also wired the solenoid to be on demand only(simple just a switched trigger wire)
    Havent had battery problems since.
Im guessing the dud battery is getting connected when you key on,stealing vital current, with this and the starter motor wizzing not enough $$$ left in the bank????
Im sure Drivesafe will explain it "technically" for you.

Also note that it could simply be slightly loose, which would not be at all obvious.

I had an earth/startinng probmel on mine too - but in my case it turned out to be a fault in the (isolating/screw type) battery terminal the PO had fitted.

    Yeah dave,
strait to the Aux. I went to put a tempary switch on it but Its a larger wire than I expected. So until the bank manager gets back from her mums I'll just have to disconect the ECU when I stop. Makes a dam good imoblizer. (however you spell that).

bout what size... Ive got a couple of umm heavy duty switchable relays that might handle it..

the reason its so big is its the one that provides the feed for making 85V for the solenoids on the injectors...From memory (too lazy to reach over and switch from music cd to the rave) it should be through a relay anyway.

The core is about 4-5mm in diameter. I've been out there very hour or so just to connect the ECU wire and see if it starts and it's working.
