Changing my Front springs...NEED HELP

I managed to undo the lower nut while turning thr tube with a large pair of multi grips, then pulled the turret out with shock attached after moving the air con and maxxi air compressor


I would never ever want to do it again

Hope you put in brandspankers and not second hand springs else you might be doing it sooner than expected.

So how big did you go?

just 2 inches

brand new Ironman springs, I was gonna change the shocks but my current bilsteins are harder and have longer travel then the new ones I have as spares

Wheel wise are they 15's or 16's you have on the car?

sorry about the belated thanks yous.....THANK YOU GUYS, I did try everyones ideas out, just the only one thatw orked was Scouse's

To undo the bottom one, just stick a large pair of multigrips or mole grips through the spring coils, and grab the shock where it is thin,ie between the bottom of the shock and the upper bush. Then turn the nut until the grips jam on something, preferably not brake lines.
Upper one agree WD40 for several hours/days. There is a spanner flat on the top of most shocks. Use it rather than grip the thread as you will make it hard for yourself.
