how much should i thighten the rear nut, i did them up till the bushes started to deform slightly

should i have done them up till i ran out of thread as they were done up tight when i went to remove them

If you are talking about the chassis end bushes on the front radius arms, then yes, do them up until they are out of thread, then tighten to 130 lbf/ft.

Do them all up tight and check them regularly, particularly if you go off road. My Rangie develops all sorts of knocks and clunks over time which are cured with a decent going over with a socket / spanner.

In my experience, the nut is tightened so the thick washer is hard up to the shoulder of the larger diameter section that the bushes fit on. The washer has a chamfer on one side to clear the fillet radius at the shoulder.
