    Anyone Broken a Trutrack

    Has anyone out there broken or damaged a trutrack
    Just thinking that they might be a cheap way of getting rid of the Rover 2 Pin Centre in the front of my old Stage 1 V8.
    Any hints comments I am not chasing extra traction but extra strength (already has Maxi Axles). 4 Pin Centres seem impossible to find?

    no not yet have done a cv and axle the tru track still going strong
    disco seriesII mods so far:-bullbar,hyd winch,
    detriot locker,lsd front,C.D.L kit,chipped and bigger intercooler,2" lift,rock sliders, lsd in transfer case, modified auto trans.

    I have tru-tracs front and rear in the disco (my other vehicles have selective lockers, so I thought I would try tru-tracs).

    I can't see anything that would fail in tru-tracks, there doesn't appear to be any weak components.

    The only complaint I have is a tendency for the steering to pull a little to the left. But you soon get used to it. Nothing in comparison to locked diffs. I have never gotten around to trying more inflation in the passenger side tyres.

    The advantages are; stronger diffs than stock, no driver intervention when traction is poor, no difficult steering with front locker (the main reason I was intersted in trying tru-tracs).

    my 90 did this when i installed my front TT. i now measure the height of the tyres, so the rolling diameter is close side to side. this has helped on mine alot.
    she now only pulls when i floor it round corners, bit like a front wheel drive car.

    or is she meaning sheridon pulling the car around corners (things some people do to save on fuel economy)
