if you want to seal up the terminals on a relay.....hot melt glue works well......
i use this to seal up connections permanently......also stops them from rattling loose.......
Good point. Would be rather defeating the purpose using Silastic. I'm really starting to think the Lanotec solution is the best option on the New Era relay. The other thing I'm thinking is to put it in a small box that seals (like the engine bay fuses are).
Yes you can, yes they are and ... yes they will corrode with enough humidity applied to them. I've used these before and they don't last well.
my next setup is going in an alloy project box if i can find enough room to get it all in one place... i have 2 @ 2x new era relays, 3 x 30amp circuit breakers, 2 x 50 amp fuses and a traxide tronics sc80 i want to try and get in one place.... got to get the fender here before i can start to play :P
