hey guys does any one know whether the tjm steel stepped roof rack fits on a disco that has the factory fitted roof rails on???

I have never done it but hear it is a pain in the ass job, especially as you need to remove the roof lining etc and then work out a way to plug the holes.
Im sure you could find a roof rack that fits....

There's a rack going on ebay at the moment. It's not one of the contoured/stepped ones & is for a series one but I think it would fit...dirt cheap too![]()
Tradesman or Lowline will build what ever type of rack you want, mine is a tradesman and is 1400mm wide for the tent.
Make sure what ever rack you get it is as light as it can be and has full length rails for the gutters as it distributes the load better.
mines got the TJM stepped rack on it,
again came with the car.
i can't tell what they have taken off, but the holes for the factory bar are covered by circles the same colour as the car, i think the circces are more commonly called tape, actually they seem tougher, but I am not going to poke and prod them, and no they don't leak.
