Cost wise I think they spent $950 on the big one and I think $5-600 on the other. I can't find the paperwork so can't be certain.
Mine is fitted with the longranger main and sub tank,
it came with the car, a nice looking unit, fits the holes, the filler connections are all neat. now i know that sizes because of your post, thanks
The best part it holds lots of fuel, i think the most i have ever put in was 150 litres, now i have an idea of the capacity from the details on the website. The ony thing i noticed when filling it, you have to ease off the pump nozzle after a 100 or so litres, then partially trickle fill it, so the sub tank gets filled properly.

They're the same as the ARB tanks then arn't they. I'm sure OOT manufacture AB tanks.
I've got a 130L, excellent fuel tank, It'd be better though, if they produced an accurate quantity sender unit thats compatable with VDO gauges.
You've got to be a little bit careful here. There is Longranger and there is Long Range Automotive. Both companies make long range tanks. LRA tanks are excellent, although a bit pricey and they have so much work that it was going to take them 14 weeks to make a tank for my Disco 3. Longranger don't even do one for a Disco 3.
I'm getting one custom-made as we speak and my Disco is the guinea pig. Then there will be another choice for disco owners.
Mate the tanks are good, I have had one fitted to the Disco for 2 years now and have given it a bashing a few times and it has been tough as nails.
I have the 130Ltr on the D2. Departure angle is also not affected with these tanks.
It was fitted through ARB. I even had on my 60,000KM service Land Rover stuffed the fuel sender unit the fuel gauge read all wrong when it came back from that service. Land Rover replaced the fuel sender unit on warranty even though the part is in an aftermarket tank.
I picked up my longranger tank for the disco earlier this week. Won't have time to fit until weekend after this.
