    Bubbles? bugger.

Yep, coming back from the bank and shops this morning. Not a hot morning, temp up to 3\4, parked the S3 in the shed, had a coffee, lift the bonnet, start up, bugger, bubbles in the radiator.
Looks like a weeping head gasket to replace.
Ho hum, here we go into the depths. At least it is pension day,so I might be able to put a deposit on a top end rebuild kit.

At least you will something to do to fill in those long pensioner days

Sorry to hear it, at least it is relatively easy to lift the head - just time consuming. Good luck with it.

Gee, thanks Garry. Can't decide whether to lower the body or raise the engine.
It seems to be a long way down in the engine bay. Oh well, bend ya back me hearty. Off to the parts suppliers again,
And I thought I had put the damn tools away at last.

    Hi Shorty
    Check ebay out.
there are new old stock overhaul gasket sets advertised regularly.
Just drive around with the radiator cap part off to allow the pressure to vent easily till you can afford to do the job.

Have spent a week of not doing much, whilst waiting on parts.
Weather a little cooler, aftermarket top end kit coming tomorrow.
By weekend, the Landy will be her reliable old self again.

Ah, the old bushies dodge. And should be restricted, for use only in Dodges.

New gasket kit on the way, no worries.
