I once saw snow out of an 88 Hiline front vents
I have also experienced this smoking from a/c vents on my Ser I Disco.
The fix is to crawl underneath, remove and clean the two rubber 'fish tails' on the condensate drain tubes either side of the gearbox. I now do this regularly and have completely given up the 'smoking' habit.
Be careful when you remove each 'fish tail' as there is probably a fair amount of condensate water built up so make sure you're not directly underneath when you release them.
What sort of anti bacterial spray and how do you introduce it to the system? Thanks
I might be overstepping the 'no commercial adds' here - but
It's a tea tree oil based natural spray, in an aerosol - with the fan running you spray into the air intake, then with the fan off you can also spray in in through the centre dash outlets, and I also remove the condensate drain plugs and spray it up into the drip tray.
I do mine every couple of months - but I do smoke in my car  so the build up of 'smelly' is quite bad. Normal use non smoking - every six months.
If you actually want details of the stuff send me a PM
But with inc's permission & it being a health matter, I see it as an important piece of advice, ladas.Quote:
