    Replacing Fuel Filter..

I have not long had my TD5 and intend to replace all the filters on servicing.

I have read that the new fuel filter should not be full of fuel when fitted.
    Is this correct??
If so what is the correct procedure.

    Thanks.........

it is never a good idea to fill a fuel filter before fitting as there is a good chance of letting dirt into the fuel system let the system bleed itself

as its a doddle to prime the TD5 fit it dry, a smear of dieso on the seals before fitting is a smart idea...
