Mine has the fuel temp logic disabled in the ecu - not my doing. The WSM states that the temp defaults to 60 deg C if the sensor fails so I suppose it uses the same temp when the sender is disabled.
Has anyone who has access to Testbook, Rovercom etc seen an ecu fuel temp reading of other than 60 deg C, or seen the fuel temp disabled? Maybe this is market specific, a feature that's been dropped or maybe only on some vehicles.
