Exactly what I was thinking mate!

I learnt to drive in an ex army 2A and also logged plenty of time in Army 110s so driving without sway bars isn't a big issue for me. Also not the daily driver.

Keen to try it out but blew the alternator fuse after that bog hole. PITA trying to get a replacement.

Warning this is not sophisticated engineering by any means - it was knocked up very quickly for a trial. i'd be interested in hearing people's thoughts on it.

So it is the HR pin job. I plan on doing this too. I have seen the pins before that already have the washer welded on. However tacking them on is easy enough I'd think. My welding isn't too flash but should be okay.

I got the idea from the DiscoWeb site - but i wouldn't be surprised if someone esle here has done it. It's not exactly rocket science. I will get the washers welded on.

It was Discoweb that I saw it on as well. Linked from here though.

It is just a stroke of luck that the pin is the right size.
