    Discovery Servicing

Recently has 98 Disco V8 serviced at MLR in Melbourne - all new people there in the service area - 120,000K service - $1700 - had crackerd engine mounts, and they said it may have a crack in the exhaust manifold - since the service the Disco is not running anywhere near as well as it was before the service - for the price I paid it should have had an engine makeover. I am concered

After them laughing each time my mate took in his brand new Defender Extreme for yet another problem, i wouldnt trust them as far i could kick them - his was off the road for approx. 3 months of the 12 months he owned it due to problems and lack of service by the dealer.

Don't know where in Melbourne you are, but quite a few in that area take theirs to RoverLand in FernTree Gully.

Yeah and judging by the number of RoverLand stickers (myself included) that i have seen out and about, Glen's business is doing pretty well for just this reason

I've been taking my 97 V8 disco to MLR since it opened and to ULR before that. Never had anything but great service and never had any probs with my disco. Also I was over there today buying a part and its the same old people in the service department and same service manager so I don't know why you say they are all new.

I suppose you can help when your not sure about the end result, as a mate of mine used to say ,if they are going to get you, make it easier and drop your pants and bend over.
