no where near enough high speed rebound. The high speed part doesn't relate to your car forward speed, rather the shock shaft speed.
What springs are you using ? and is it front axle, rear axle or both that is the problem ?

according to an old listing I have, they are the correct pt. #'s for a '94-98 Defender, and are also the same pt. #'s for a RRC and Disco BUT the rears really need to be re-valved for a 110, and most definitely need to be re-valved for a 130 rear. To give you an idea, a stock RRC rear spring is around the 180lb/in mark, Disco 210lb/in or thereabouts.
An Oz spec 110 rear uses 330lb/in springs and a 130 uses the same spring with a 140 lb/in inner, effectively giving you a 470lb/in spring. There is no way on Gods green earth that shock would control that combination.
Heasmans/Sydney Shocks are aware of this and re-valve accordingly. The other company I can recommend is Bakers in Melbourne who specialise in race and off road race Bilsteins. I can PM you Gary Bakers address and ph. no. if you wish.

I've got the LR heavy duty factory Isuzu springs in the front - HYG4176. And old man emu 2" lift in the rear 764's.
Both front an back bounce around but the back is a little worse.
The 764's from memory are the middle of the range poundage, they are definatly the goods. After hooking the boat up fully loaded it's around the 1 Ton mark and the rear end dosnt sag.
Don't forget that my car is a D90.
Cheers
according to the spring sheet I have, OME 764's are a 230 lb spring, so shouldn't be outside the ballpark for those dampers.
Sounds like a send away and dyno, at least to establish they are OK and then perhaps a potential re-valve
need to get my fronts re-valved, any one in melbourne do them ?
Guys,
Heasmans Steering are the importer in Sydney. I brought my billies from them and I love em. They have only been on a couple of weeks but so far they seem great.

Quadrant are the importers, although I recommend Bakers. Back in the day used to trade as VeeDub motors. Gary and his brother (can never remember his name) were legends in the infant days of off road racing in Oz and were into Bilsteins way back then.
I can PM contact details.
Spoke to sydney shock's (I think thats there name) today adout my problem, they quoted to have mine re-valeve and rebuilt would be 420 a pair. I'm pretty appauled that it would cost this much to fix my problem, considering that they are 460pr new.
I have to say that my experiance with Bilstiens shock have left a bad tast in my mouth. There is no way I can afford to have them re-valved. I'm gonna look into a different brand, surely Koni adjustables wouldn't be as expensive as bills.
I'm also pretty ****ed that the guy on this forumn that sells these hasn't come foward to help me with this problem. Your full name is on the tip of my tongue and when I remember it I'll be calling you.
I may be selling these shocks, if you think they would suit your veh better than mine then drop me a msg.
Larns, you have a PM. ;)
