For Mr Rovernaut: Mick (Cal415) is right about the Karcraft flange - it's all-in-one and a direct fit. I didn't mind paying the $140 because finding that spacer would have been a nightmare. As to the mudslinger rubbing on diff itself, I can't detect any problems so far, although I must admit that there is a ever so slightly different note to the diff whilst driving - will have to keep an eye on it I suppose.

What is the setscrew size for the spigot please?

    I had noted 13mm x 50mm. Anyone confirm this?

AFAIK the centre pin device is officially called the spigot, so if thats what you're looking for, I can say that I used a HT 3/8 bolt to pull it out. Whether or not you use a set screw depends on your method of extraction.

I'm on 200,000Km and on to my second Rotoflex. That's only because the first one got shagged on a really arduous drive last November.
    Good photos and info Langy.

Mine hasnt done that many km's but i havent had a problem with mine nor have i noticed any more noise or vibration. I did here werrring from the diff leading up to the breakage but that was internal as we now know, it was tired. Matt

Just found the invoice from the previous owner for having my last one replaced. It actually lasted 8 months
They replaced the donut and the spigot bush.

All done 5 weeks before I bought the car.

Complaints were severe vibration when accelerating which is what it was doing when I replaced mine.

So both times it must have been well stuffed. It certainly was when I did mine.

Huge grave dig but just getting around to doing this now even though i bought the parts last year, i have a couple of differences to both this and the discoweb pics.
I removed the spigot easy enough to be greeted with a 15mm bolt instead of a 24mm nut, also there is no mud slinger on the new flange i got from All4x4 ?
