The ones FWD sells are the steel-backed type (steel U channel with felt inside and a thin layer of vinyl (?) outside. Look no different to the original ones.

At this stage i'll probably get a set from roverparts to use and see what they are like on comparison. I'll make sure I take picies to show as well ;)
Bought the same stuff from British Offroad a few years ago in lengths. Sorry, can't remember price but they sell kits as well.
well i might have to look in my shed, i have two lengths of bailey channel hidden away somewhere. i bought it for my bedford truck resto and didn't use it. i will look for it and post back.
well, long time getting back to this,
i still have two six foot lenths of stainless edged bailey channel, but alas, they do not fit my s2a.
so who does supply this stuff?
i need to do all the channels on a s2a station wagon, so lots of channell needed.
does anyone know supplies this stuff in bulk?
Hi All, I did some research into the costs on many sites and found that roverparts had 2 door sets for only $40 and postage to Hobart for only $50 all up which saved me around $15 from anywhere else. I have a series 3 lwb to fit them too.
Any updates on this guys - is it better to buy the lengths? Or go with a pre cut kit? Also any decent before and after pics. Rear wagon windows on my 109 are so badly gone that it is hard to tell how to install.
Thanks
If you need other parts as well why not get a kit from the UK ?

I haven't done a rear sliding window, the big problem is finding the screws in the old channel and removing them.
