I got a kit on ebay from Gary at Classic Land Rover Parts in Sydney for $45.00 per window. It had top, bottom and side channel for the sliding glass and the seal strip between the windows. I bought 2 kits and postage was $15.00.
Still haven't fitted them yet. PM me if you want his phone number.

I have bought quite a lot over the years. I recall it cost about $15 per 6ft length - from FWD Motors, Fairfield Rd Brisbane.

EDIT - and don't bother screwing it in - use quick drying sikaflex and just clamp everything in place until the sikaflex dries. Solves a lot of the rust problems that the screws cause.

Are any of these kits using the Steel backed Bailey Channel, or are they the non backed ones, as I have 2 doors to do. Are the ones from FWD motors the original ones for the Series ?? Isuzurover ??

Roverparts have a kit to do 2 doors for $44 which i'm enquiring about at the moment.

I'm also asking four wheel drives about their kit for $22 and what it includes.

    window channel series vehicle

I used the standard steel backed Bailey channel from M.R. Automotive in Radcliffe for the top and rear section.
I matched up a rubber Bailey channel for the lower slide from my local Clarke rubber.
I had replaced it with steel Bailey channel all round on other vehicles I have had and noticed the the lower channel had rusted out and started to rust out the door top. The screws the hold down the channel had rusted out.
Using the rubber as I have totally eliminates the rattles, is easier to replace, will not rust and cheaper

Bailey channel is available from all the places mentioned. It is expensive for what it is though.

I have used it from Four wheel Drives and from Clark Rubber.

Gluing it in will help prevent rust but will cause problems next time. Make sure the drains are clear and kept clear.

Roverparts includes the metal backed bailey rubber but not the metal cap. Which metal cap are they refering to??

Four wheel drives is for one door only. The channel is made with the metal strip in the middle.
