warn high mount

Put it in a reciever cradle and on wheels so you can use it front or rear, get a S/H Hayman reese reciever and modify it to fit behind you lowmount bar with Anderson plugs front and rear.

I have seen this on a Land cruiser and works great, he left it in the rear most of the time or on the tray, but it would take up the whole load area in a disco.

I take it that you've never actually lifted a highmount with cable on it:p

Either that or your a big strong ****er:eek:

I mean they can be lifted, but getting one out the car, dragging it up the muddy hill, attaching to the front.........

Lift my low mount in the other day with 1 hand, Big ****er descibes me pretty well :D

The bloke who had the cruiser tray with that Highmount cradle set up made me look like a starved dwarf.

Thats why he had wheels on it Id assume.

Well insurance wont touch me with a high-mount on the d2. So if anyone wants a high-mount make an offer :eek:

we used to put the 8274 as we call (high mount here) on to the Defender and disco ARB bumpers. Just use spacers made out of Ali or some metal. Then use long bolts on the front of the winch to attc. But the warns are a funny thread , but they are also the same thread as the head bolts on a V8 so if you want longer bolts use them , Job done :):)
