Thread: CDL light just turned on

Driving to my favourite fishing spot over the weekend and a drove through a very mild dip at very slow speed. I was in Hi and CDL was NOT enabled. As I was pulling out of dip I was sure I saw the CDL light come on for a short period of time. I did accelerate out of the dip but not excessively.

Do I have a problem?

Are you sure it wasn't the TC (traction control light) that came on

I didn't realise it had traction control......

OK just checked the Owners Handbook and yep - was the traction control. Thanks

I love leaving that your car has things you never thought it had...

Yep, next time you put the ignition on all the lights come on as a test, you should see light with TC in amber - the lights go off after 3 seconds after you switch the ignition on

It's next to the diff lock light in the top left hand quadrant on the dash/display

Oh dear

Big amber symbol in top left of dash lights that is circular with the letters TC in the middle. CDL light is an H shaped symbol. Check the owner's manual.

Now as soon as I find out how to change the plugs I'm set

Don't worry we're all still trying to work out something on our Disco's

I find the TC lights up sometimes when turning into a side street with a rough/corrugated patch of bitumen on the apex or going over a speed bump a little to aggressively.
