That was a connector for a compressed air line.

Bugger! It might have had a manufacturer's name on the plug.

I'll see if I can find out the first owner's name (the second owner is unlikely to have fitted them) from the documents in the car and I'll ring him to ask.

It looks like IP67 is an Ingress Protection specification and covers lots of different styles of connectors. But I'm now looking at Amphenol catalogues.

    Try JAYCAR:

    Their catalogue page 117, or

    their website http://www.jaycar.com.au

    and search using IP67.

although there are only two holes shown in the photo, it's otherwise identical.

    Hi Ron.
I know this place is in the UK but.... http://www.indexmarine.co.uk/pages/wtrprfconns1.htm if you sent them a picture they might be able to assist you with the supplier nearest to you?

They also do mail order and are highly reccomended by alot of guys on the UK LR Forums.

    Regards.

I had a look a the Amphenol plugs at Jaycar. They certainly look to be the ones - but the minimum is (are?) 3 pins.

I'll get my daughter to measure the ones in the car when she gets back to Derby.

Wait! She brought back the service book - it has the original owner details in it. I'll ring him tomorrow. Err, no I won't. He's not in the phone book.
