    Poly Air Springs for 130"

My father has a 130" with a bit too much weight on the back (caravan box) which you feel when driving.

Would those Poly Air Springs help to stabilise the vehicle?

Any problems to fit them in a 130" with the two coils?

    Pro's / Con's, other solutions?

    Thanks.

    Cheers,
    Daniel

I think you'll have to remove the inner spring.

There was a post here this morning about airbag replacements that linked to here: http://www.airbagman.com.au/index.html

Check that out and see if it helps.

I thought you could get thinner airbags to sit inside the helper springs, but my memory is pretty shady at times.

Maybe look at uprated rear springs. Mine has singe springs in the rear but they are taller and for heavier loads than the standard.

    Hello George,

This must be a silly question, but what do you mean with 'singe springs'.

    Cheers,
    Daniel

Suspect 'singe' is a typo for 'single'

    Thanks for the clarification.

Do those Poly Air Springs / stronger single springs help to stabilise the swaying in the rear or would we need to install a heavy duty Stabiliser Bar?

    G'day Daniel,
I've just installed some 'Polyairs' to the rear of my County.......I really like the way it handles with about 20psi on the road, but have yet to try it offroad with a reduced pressure. The rear springs I chose are more supple than the previous set, so I'm expecting better articulation with 5psi in the Polyairs.

Don't ask about the front springs!.
